The plan is only the beginning. Stephen Cuomo, Director of Construction and a partner at West Rac, runs what happens after: the crews, the subcontractors, and the daily calls that turn a set of drawings into a finished building.

Built with one standard of quality.

Last week, we began the final stage of construction at Sacred Heart with the paving of the main parking lot. We are proud to be part of this beautiful project in Mattituck, NY, and we’re excited to be so close to completion!

From inception to occupancy. Construction management at West Rac puts one team in charge of the whole build: planning the schedule and budget, controlling cost, anticipating risk, running the site safely, verifying the work, and handing over a project ready for occupancy.

Built with one standard of quality.

The standard starts at the top. Nicole LaMontagne, Director of Operations and a partner at West Rac, holds every job to the same three things: accountability, precision, and follow-through.

Built with one standard of quality.

West Rac builds shopping plazas from the ground up and fits out the spaces inside them: competitive-bid retail, new buildings, and tenant fit-outs. Owners and tenants both keep calling us back.

The PODS Distribution Center program is what a lasting client relationship looks like. For PODS, we have delivered over one million square feet of ground-up, pre-engineered warehouse storage and office space across more than thirteen locations, from New York and Colorado to Florida, Washington, and New Mexico. One standard, coast to coast.

Every project, by sector. Over thirty years, West Rac has built across corporate, hospitality, entertainment, retail, industrial, religious, education, healthcare, and pre-engineered work.

In healthcare, the finish quality patients see is part of the care they feel. West Rac delivers patient-facing clinical space and healthcare fit-outs with the elevated finish quality these environments call for, built clean, built precise, built to put people at ease.

Another look at the progress on the Sacred Heart Parish Center. Week by week, the structure keeps taking shape, and what was framing not long ago is starting to feel like the space it will become. Building for a faith community is work we never take lightly, because we know how many gatherings, milestones, and memories these walls will eventually hold.

The Dormition of Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church in Southampton is a 35,000 square foot, three-phase complex bringing together a cultural center, sanctuary, and community hall in conventional steel framing, finished with a marble and limestone facade, a slate roof, and a copper dome. Built to last for generations.

Completed April 2014.
