What a FUN day at Horwitz! Our annual Horwitz Fun Fest brought employees and their families together for an afternoon full of food, laughter, and activities for all ages.

Between axe throwing, the dunk tank, mini golf, the petting zoo, live music, raffles, and more, there was no shortage of fun! We loved seeing so many familiar faces—and meeting so many family members—while enjoying a fun day together.

Our team recently completed a major cooling system conversion at Friendship Village of Bloomington, delivering a more efficient and maintainable solution for the 300,000-square-foot senior living community.

With residents remaining in their homes throughout construction, our team carefully coordinated each phase around resident comfort and daily facility operations. The completed system combines water-source heat-recovery VRF technology with geothermal wells to support reliable comfort and long-term performance.

For nearly 100 years, True Friends has empowered children and adults with disabilities through recreation, therapy, and life-changing experiences that build confidence and independence.

We're proud to have partnered with McGough Construction and True Friends to help bring their new, highly accessible facility in Maple Lake to life. Through the process, our team was honored to support a space that will serve individuals, families, and the community for years to come.

Every system was designed with the facility's unique needs in mind, from specialized water treatment to dedicated natatorium HVAC systems and coordinated installation planning that supported efficient construction.

We're proud to share that the Summit Orthopedics Surgery Center has been recognized as one of Finance & Commerce's Top Projects of 2025.

The new 80,000-square-foot, two-story facility brings surgical, diagnostic, and overnight orthopedic care together under one roof. It includes seven operating rooms, an MRI suite, exam rooms, and overnight care spaces designed to serve patients throughout the region.

As the design-build mechanical and plumbing contractor, our team provided the HVAC, plumbing, medical gas, and specialty piping systems that keep the facility operating safely and efficiently. Early collaboration, BIM coordination, and prefabrication helped keep the project on schedule while meeting the unique demands of a healthcare environment.
