GREAT NEWS! Office of Governor Ned Lamont announced more than $15 million in DECD grants to remediate 12 different blighted properties throughout the state. This includes the Mount Pleasant / Bond Street development in New Britain! We’re delighted to be working on the revitalization of this neighborhood with the New Britain Housing Authority, JHM Group, and the entire Team.

Some details: New Britain: $2,673,038 grant to the Housing Authority of New Britain to abate, remediate, and demolish the Mount Pleasant public housing facility at 100 Richard Street. The 19.81-acre site will be redeveloped into a mixed-income housing complex. Phase 1 will include construction of 72 units; 70% of the units will be deed restricted for 30 years to be offered at or below 60% of the Area Median Income.
