Silver Maple Construction

🍂If you’re looking for a fall getaway, consider this a sign to head to the Cape.

Our Woodworks team created some of the custom cabinetry at AutoCamp Cape Cod; a destination built around getting outside, gathering, and enjoying the landscape.

The pieces we contributed were built to complement AutoCamp’s warm approach to hospitality where modern design, natural materials, and a relaxed sense of place come together.

So, if a cozy New England getaway is calling, consider the Cape in the fall. And while you’re there, take a closer look.

What keeps people at Silver Maple?

For some, it’s the opportunity to take on challenging projects and keep learning. For others, it’s having leaders who trust and value their work, a collaborative team that solves problems together, or meaningful growth that leaves room for life outside of work.

There’s no one answer to “Why Silver Maple?” In the stories we’ve shared thus far, one thing comes through clearly: people care about the work, and they care about the people they do it with.

We asked our employees to tell us in their own words. Here’s what they had to say.

At Silver Maple, we’re proud to build exceptional homes, but we’re equally proud of the culture we’re building behind the scenes.

Curious what that could look like for you?

How much does it really cost to build an aircraft hangar?

There’s no single answer.

Cost per square foot can provide a rough estimate, but each type of hangar has its own inclusions and exclusions.

From aircraft requirements and site conditions to hangar doors, structural systems, NFPA 409 fire protection, mechanical systems, and long-term operating costs, early decisions in aircraft hangar construction impact the final budget.

We broke down the biggest cost drivers, what to consider before construction begins, and how sustainable design decisions increase the lifespan of your investment.

Guess when we built it 🛠️

At first glance, this all-white renovation might look like a project from this year.

Pantone named Cloud Dancer, a soft, airy white, its 2026 Color of the Year, describing it as a versatile shade that creates a sense of spaciousness and allows other colors and materials to shine. This home has been embracing the look for quite a bit longer

So, is this as recent as it feels, or were we ahead of the times with this renovation?

In addition to the white palette on this home, other details we love are:
🔹Arched openings that add architectural character
🔹White cabinetry balanced with warm wood floors
🔹Dark tile and black accents for contrast
🔹Natural light throughout the home
🔹Natural materials that keep the spaces from feeling stark
🔹Gothic arch walnut custom vanity cabinet

So…what year do you think we renovated this home?
