In 2005, I started my small landscape / mowing business, Walter Lawn Care. My goal was eventually to have my son and daughter assist me as they entered their high school years. Unfortunately, their schedules (sports & school) will not successfully allow for this to occur.

I have been blessed with outstanding young men who have worked for WLC throughout the years. Many of them former students of mine. That being said, I’m happy to announce that my current landscape / mowing manager, who will be graduating from business school this spring, will be purchasing and taking over operations of WLC. I have full confidence that he will continue to deliver outstanding service to our loyal customers. He is an incredibly hardworking young man who will take WLC to the next level of being a premier, affordable landscape for the residents of Allen County.

Finally, I want to thank my loyal customers. It is bittersweet to end my journey serving you as a small business owner. I have enjoyed improving your properties for you to enjoy. THANK YOU again for your loyalty through the past seventeen years. I would like to specifically thank Mayor Steve McMichael who has been my longest, most loyal customer.

Our WLC Crew did an amazing job creating this “dry river bed” in our Southwest customers back yard. It really spruced up an area that was hidden not being utilized in the landscape.

Mowing will begin in about two to three weeks. Seasonal info/contracts will be sent out by next week. Landscapes maintenance will begin in May and continue until the end of July. We thank you in advance for your continued business!
