Have a look at our latest patio! We chose a charcoal-burgundy toned paver with light grey shades for the border on this project. The spring is off to a great start, hope you enjoy!
We design & build landscapes for newly installed homes and structural additions too! This property has a new lawn, leveled, repaired & graded for riding mowers, a row of trees and varying foliage, a hand cut mulch bed, complete with irrigation and erosion preventative drainage. In the back yard we installed a new brick paved patio from repurposed and upcycled pavers with a few additional bricks to extend its borders and a cobble stone stepper walk way to tie it all together. Enjoy!
Last month we completed this 135 foot long retaining wall for a historic home along Parnell avenue. We started by removing the steep eroded hill, which had proved troublesome for lawn mowers, and carried on, building brick by brick, from the ground up. Also, the weathered stair set was rebuilt by using a few of the original lime stone pieces for a solid foundation and mixing in a few new sand stone steps as well. Professional drainage for run off was also installed to ensure structural longevity and finished by connecting a paved walk way. Thanks for your time and feel free to like and share our posts!

Here is a quick walk through of this week's project! Started with an over grown flower bed and transformed into a very different scenery. We planted a number of hostas and arbor vitaes along with a Japanese maple, a variety of irises, and several flowing shrubs. For the rock bed we chose a wood rock and shale stone mix and built a flag stone retaining wall next to a row of brick pavers to maintain a well defined edge for years to come. Hope you enjoy!
Putting together the finishing details on our hard scape paved walk way and stair set
Often times unintentional erosion can occur throughout lawns in high foot traffic areas or as a result of rain water run- off in shallow mire spots. There are several solutions to this common problem, one being a more permanent and stable walk - way. A popular choice is featured here in this weeks work. The grey with burgundy hue brick paver sidewalk and a short three step set connecting to the walk ways base:
