Remodeling bathroom with my dad. We tried heating the collar but it won't budge. Previously there was pvc kinda pushed in but not really attached meaningfully. I want to do it right. So- does the collar come off? Does it matter if the old approach is fundamentally wrong? What's the best way to transition to pvc here?
