It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Dennis Henning. Those who knew him will remember his wonderful sense of humor and his love of family, friends, and the people around him.

Henning Excavating will be different without him, but we will continue to carry on his legacy and the values he built in the company. His presence, laughter and memories will always be a part of Henning Excavating and all those who had the privilege of knowing him.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Dennis L. Henning, age 74, of New Germany passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at his residence. The Henning Excavating family had a fun day yesterday granting a wish to a very special little boy and his big brother. Giving them a digger day none of us will soon forget. The boys went from machine to machine digging, dozing and driving. The heat didn’t stop those boys from having a wonderful time. Thanks to Wishes and More for giving us another opportunity to make a wish come true.
