The last two weeks have been filled with heat, humidity, long hours, and a whole lot of progress. We’re not quite finished yet, but with fair season kicking off this week, we’re pushing hard to button this project up.

This project consists of 2,800 feet of 8’ chain link topped with 3 strands of barbed wire, along with 9 heavy-duty panic bar gates built to handle years of demanding use.

The equipment has been a game changer. The Blue Diamond Rock Auger Bits have worked flawlessly, cutting through tough soil and rock without missing a beat. The EZ Mud Hog has exceeded every expectation, allowing us to mix and pour over 9 pallets of Sakrete in a single day to keep post installation moving efficiently. Once the framework is in place during the cool early mornings, the EZ Fence Hog helps us install nearly 500 feet of wire in just a few hours, keeping production rolling despite the summer heat.

A huge shout-out to our crew for their dedication, work ethic, and commitment to doing the job right. Their effort is what makes projects like this possible.

Most importantly, our goal has always been customer satisfaction, and we’re proud to say we’re knocking this one out of the park. We can’t wait to put the finishing touches on it and hand over another fence built to last.

Progress is rolling right along this week! 💪

The Mobile Mud Hog is making quick work of this project. On Wednesday, we drilled 160 holes, and today we set and concreted 140 posts. Next week we’ll start framework and wire installation while finishing the remaining 110 line posts, along with several gate posts and end assemblies.

In just 7 hours, we mixed and poured nearly 400 bags of 80 lb concrete—that’s 9 pallets worth.

Talk about a game changer!

A big thank you to Erica for getting this unit shipped and on-site so quickly. The team at EZ Manufacturing builds some of the best chain link attachments in the business, and this Mobile Mud Hog has completely changed the way we tackle large commercial projects.

At Six Fencing LLC, we’re always investing in better equipment so we can deliver quality work faster, safer, and more efficiently for our customers.

Happy Father’s Day to all the superhero’s who work so hard to build a life for their families, protect everything they’ve worked for, and somehow hold it all together—even if it’s held together with a little baler twine, duct tape, and pure determination.
Whether you’re working long days, fixing what breaks, teaching life’s lessons, or simply showing up when it matters most, your family sees the sacrifices you make.
From all of us at Six Fencing, we want to say thank you to the fathers, grandfathers, stepdads, and father figures who help build strong families and strong communities.
Happy Father’s Day!

Another Alpaca Sanctuary Taking Shape.

What started as a perimeter fence installation quickly evolved into a custom-designed alpaca sanctuary built with both functionality and future expansion in mind.

Built with:
• 16/60/2x4 No-Climb Alpaca Wire
• 6” x 9’ CCA Treated Line Posts
• 10’ Brace Assemblies
• 7-8” x 10’ Boss Ends
• Gripple Quick Braces for strength and longevity
• New Gripple T-Clips for a clean, secure finish
• Kencove Wire-Filled Gates to tie everything together

One of the unique features of this project was a custom carve-out that allows the animals to enjoy the beauty of the hillside and surrounding landscape while remaining safely contained and separated from the main field. The layout creates multiple working runs today with endless opportunities for future paddocks, rotational grazing, and herd management tomorrow.

Projects like this remind us why we love what we do. Quality materials, thoughtful design, attention to detail, and great customers make for a finished product that not only looks great but will serve its purpose for years to come.

From the rolling hills of Southwestern Pennsylvania to the final Gripple clip, every foot of this fence was built with pride.

Built to last. Built to perform. Built by Six Fencing LLC.

Another day in the hills doing what we do.

We never understood how they choose where a pads sits and why it’s always on some of the prettiest fields around, but we’ll fence around them anytime.

This project featured 6” x 8’ CCA treated posts on 10’ centers, 13/48/3 woven wire, and two strands of barbed wire along the top—built to handle the terrain while keeping livestock where they belong.

From rolling pastures to steep grades, quality fencing not only protects your investment but helps preserve the beauty of the land around it.

Another beautiful project wrapped up by Six Fencing LLC.

This horse fence was built using 2”x4” no-climb wire on 5” CCA treated posts, topped with a durable 4” horse rail for added strength, visibility, and a clean finished look.

The corners and ends were constructed with 6”x9’ treated posts and 10’ cross tops, then reinforced using Gripple Quick Brace systems to ensure long-term stability. We also utilized Gripple T-Clips throughout the project to create secure connections while improving installation efficiency.

Before construction began, we cleared dead trees, brush, and debris along the fence line to provide proper access and help protect the fence from future damage. Taking the time to prepare the site correctly is just as important as building the fence itself.

From open pasture to wooded terrain, this fence is built to withstand the elements and provide years of reliable service for both horses and property owners.

Quality materials. Proper bracing. Professional installation. Built to last.
