❤️💙 MEET THE KINNARD FAMILY: Where It All Began! 🔧

Every family business has a story, and ours started back in 2012, with one man, a service truck, and a dream of building something special.

When Kinnard Heating & Cooling first opened its doors, our owner had two things in mind: providing for his family and taking care of the families in our community.

In the beginning, he did it all! From running service calls to managing the business, all while raising three kids. Eventually, he brought on his first employee, Kent, who became his right-hand man and an incredible source of knowledge.

Fast forward to today, and what started as a one-man operation has grown into something much bigger than he ever imagined.

But ask him what he’s most proud of, and it isn’t the number of service calls or installations. It’s the relationships. ❤️

It’s watching customers become friends and feel like family. It’s creating a workplace where employees are valued, their families matter, and work-life balance is a priority.

And perhaps the greatest reward of all? Getting to work alongside his sons.

As he puts it:

Office Assistant / Service Dispatcher

Kinnard Heating & Cooling is looking for an organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Office Assistant / Service Dispatcher to help coordinate our service department and support daily office operations.

The primary focus of this position is service scheduling and dispatching. You’ll help keep technicians organized, customers informed, and service calls moving efficiently throughout the day.

This is a fast-paced role that requires someone who can manage changing priorities, communicate confidently, and follow through on details.

Primary Responsibilities

* Schedule and dispatch HVAC service technicians
* Manage technicians’ daily schedules and adjust appointments as priorities change
* Communicate with customers regarding scheduling, service needs, and appointment updates
* Gather accurate information from customers when scheduling service calls
* Maintain and prioritize the Service To-Do List
* Track open service calls and ensure follow-up items are completed
* Order and track service parts as needed
* Review completed work orders for accuracy before billing
* Schedule appointments for sales representatives and managers
* Help ensure daily service procedures and office processes are followed

Additional Office Support

* Assist with installation scheduling and coordination
* Register equipment and file warranty information
* Post customer payments and enter vendor invoices
* Review timesheets for accuracy
* Maintain organized customer, service, and company records
* Assist management and other office staff as needed

What We’re Looking For

The right person is:

* Highly organized and detail-oriented
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
* Able to prioritize multiple requests throughout the day
* Confident communicating with customers and technicians
* Dependable and willing to take ownership of responsibilities
* Comfortable learning new software and processes
* Able to stay calm and organized when schedules change
* A strong problem-solver who follows through until a task is complete

HVAC or service dispatching experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person.

This position also has room to grow. As you become comfortable with the core responsibilities, there are opportunities to take on additional responsibilities based on your strengths and interests.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00–$26.00 per hour
