50 Years Strong
What started with one vision has grown into something truly special.
Bob Janelli, a NYC Detective, saw the need to protect homes and businesses. With an electrical background and a drive to serve, he founded Bob’s Alarms—what would later become Bob’s Security, Inc. Alongside his wife and children, the foundation of this company was built on family, hard work, and trust.
After his passing, his sons carried that legacy forward—growing the business to serve over 6,000 customers while staying true to the values he started with.
Today, the company has expanded into three divisions, with John Janelli , Robert, and Richard each leading their own division, continuing to grow and evolve. That growth also led to the creation of a second company in New Jersey—Janco Security Inc which is owned by Bob’s Grandson John Janelli.
We are incredibly grateful to every customer who has trusted us over the years—from our very first customers, who we are proud to still serve today, to the many who have joined along the way.
To everyone who has been part of this journey—family, employees, partners, and customers—thank you.
