Thank you special, special Greece! Could not have been a better spot for our family to chill out and give great thanks for where we are as a clan. Varsity eating of the freshest kind, turquoise sea, sun, and simple design set against a very rugged land brimming with ancient history.

One of the best parts of garden travels in the UK is unexpectedly following the roadside brown cultural signage scattered across the country. We did this in Devon and what a reward! Burrow Farm Garden. A private garden owned by a ninety plus year old who is still very present on the property. She purchased the property in 1959 and turned the 13 acre former dairy farm into horticultural magic. Borders, water features, meadow, a plant nursery and amazing long Devon views. Highly recommend!!

These beauties greeting me in the garden today. The end of the peonies, these ones petal perfection and huge. Further, I seem to be a committed delphinium grower. This is year 3, with new plugs added to the bed each year, they are thriving! A walkway border of happy Nigella volunteers. And last but not least, happy roses.

First haul of many! Reach out if you would like an abundant bucket of these beauties.

My Executive Vice President of Compostable Materials, , had a very busy weekend getting compost hq in new order. New bays for making the black gold, which carefully tends, resulting in best material for the gardens. Well fed soil, happy plants! Grateful for my Compost Captain!

Happy Spring! We are all happy to be outside again, especially these guys. Grateful for the early signs of spring!

With the heavy snow coming overnight and tomorrow, don’t forget your woody shrubs! Especially Boxwood. Give them a gentle shake every few inches to prevent from splaying and breaking.
