🚧 PROJECT UNDERWAY EAST HARTFORD, CT 🚧

After a long-awaited start, the Shangri-La project in East Hartford, right on the Glastonbury line, is officially underway.

CE Electrical Contractors was originally awarded this project back in January, and as construction schedules evolved, our team did what we do best—adapted, adjusted, and made it happen.

We’re excited to see work moving in the field and proud to be working alongside Burke’s Construction to bring this project to life.

Looking forward to sharing the progress as construction continues.

Today, we pause to remember September 11, 2001 a day that forever changed our nation.

We honor the 2,977 lives lost, the families who continue to carry their memory, and the firefighters, police officers, first responders, tradespeople, and everyday Americans who ran toward danger when others were trying to escape.

In the face of unimaginable tragedy, we witnessed extraordinary courage, sacrifice, and unity. We remember the way our country came together neighbors helping neighbors, strangers helping strangers, and Americans standing as one.

From all of us at CE Electrical Contractors, we will never forget those we lost, those who answered the call, and those whose lives were forever changed.

May we always remember not only the tragedy of that day, but the strength, compassion, and unity that followed.

Today, we recognize the hardworking men and women whose skill, dedication, and craftsmanship keep our businesses running, our communities growing, and our country moving forward.

🚒 LITCHFIELD FIREHOUSE — LITCHFIELD, CT ⚡️

10 months in the making — and we’re finally getting this one underway.

CE Electrical Contractors was originally contacted by ACG to assist with the renovation of the historic Litchfield Firehouse, an 1891 building that is being incorporated into the beautiful Belden House & Mews property in downtown Litchfield.

The original electrical scope started with a new electrical service and the addition of a kitchen, but as the design developed, the project needed to be brought back within budget.

That’s where the real preconstruction work began.

Over the last 10 months, CE worked closely with ACG, the ownership group, and the design team to value-engineer the electrical package, identify areas where scope could be modified or eliminated, and find practical solutions that allowed the owner to move the project forward without compromising the overall vision.

Now, after months of planning, redesign and coordination, we’re excited to see construction moving forward as this historic Firehouse begins its next chapter — being transformed into a bar and food-and-beverage space supporting the adjacent Belden House & Mews hotel and its guests.

Belden House & Mews itself brings together a restored 1888 mansion, the 1959 Mews, and the historic 1891 Firehouse as part of one hospitality property in the heart of Litchfield.

We’re proud to be working with ACG once again and excited to partner with this ownership and design team to help bring another unique Connecticut project to life.

At CE, our job isn’t always just installing what’s on the drawings. Sometimes it’s helping find a way to make the project work.

Another Wingstop across the finish line! ⚡️🍗

CE Electrical Contractors is proud to wrap up another Wingstop project, this time in Branford, CT.

The new LED perimeter lighting across the front of the building really brings the storefront to life and gives it a clean, finished look.

This project came with a tight deadline, but as always, our team stepped up, stayed focused, and got it done. In true CE fashion, we crossed the finish line on time and delivered another quality project.

Great job to everyone involved and especially our field team for continuing to make it happen when the schedule gets tight.

Project Complete ⚡🏢

Another successful project in the books for CE Electrical Contractors!

804 Main Street marked CE’s first modular construction project, and it was definitely a learning experience in certain areas. Modular construction brings a different set of challenges, coordination requirements, and sequencing—but that’s exactly where experience, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality matter most.

Our team adapted throughout the project, worked through the challenges, and successfully completed our electrical scope on schedule.

Even at the finish line, we were thrown one last curveball when the Fire Marshal required several additional devices before final approval. Our team immediately jumped into action, completed the additional work, and helped keep the project moving so the owner could obtain the Certificate of Occupancy and tenants could move in as planned.

A big thank you to our entire CE team for the hard work and dedication that went into getting this one across the finish line. 💪💪💪

First modular project complete—and another valuable experience we’ll carry into the next one.

⚡ BACK AT WHEELER CLINIC! ⚡

CE Electrical Contractors originally completed work at Wheeler Clinic back in 2017 for Enterprise Builders, and we’re excited to be back nearly a decade later — this time working with Nosal Builders on renovations across two separate floors.

Here are some progress pictures from the first phase of this multi-phase project. Our current scope includes:

⚡ New light fixtures
⚡ New lighting controls & switching
⚡ Access control & door systems
⚡ Electrical work for new offices and expanded spaces

There’s plenty more to come as the project continues through its upcoming phases.

It’s always great returning to a facility we worked on years ago and being trusted once again to help bring the next chapter to life.

Great job to the entire CE team for keeping things moving and delivering the quality our clients expect. 💪⚡💪

Today we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who have served and sacrificed for our country. Their courage, dedication, and selflessness are the reason we enjoy the freedoms we have every single day.

From all of us at CE Electrical Contractors, thank you to every veteran, active service member, and the families who stand beside them. Your sacrifices will never be forgotten.

We’re currently working on a full open-store remodel at Burlington Coat Factory Stratford, handling all work overnight to keep the store operating without interruption.

Scope includes:
• Swapping out lamps across the entire store
• Upgrading existing fixtures
• Installing new lighting controls throughout
• wiring up a brand new cash wrap

Working in an active retail environment takes coordination, precision, and a team that knows how to get in and get it done right without slowing down operations and that’s exactly what our guys are doing.

Great progress so far, and a great job by the team as always. 💪💪💪
