GRASS FIRE THREATENS LULING BUSINESS - QUICK RESPONSE STOPS THE SPREAD

Luling Volunteer Fire Department, Luling Police Department and the Caldwell County Constable’s Office, Precinct 2 responded to a grass fire in the 600 block of N. Magnolia Avenue in Luling that was threatening a nearby business.

Luling VFD quickly contained and extinguished the fire before it spread further.

The cause remains under investigation. Preliminary indications suggest it may have been electrical in nature.

We appreciate the quick response and teamwork of everyone involved.
