Exciting progress in Fredericksburg!

Woolsey is proud to serve as the Construction Management team for New Main, a new 33,000+ SF retail and office development coming to South Adams Street.

With sitework now underway, New Main will bring a significant new commercial space to one of Fredericksburg’s key corridors, creating new opportunities for businesses and continued investment in our growing community.

We’re grateful to be part of the team bringing this project from plans to reality and look forward to sharing the progress as construction moves forward.

We’re proud to have been a part of bringing Roxie’s in Buda to life.

Woolsey Design Build was honored to contribute to the remodel of this special space at Buda’s historic Mill & Grain Co., helping transform it into a restaurant filled with character, history, and a true sense of home.

Created by Salt Lick BBQ owner Scott Roberts, Roxie’s is a tribute to his grandmother, Roxanna “Roxie” Roberts, and the Southern Sunday suppers that helped shape his love of food. The 6,000-square-foot restaurant incorporates meaningful pieces of that history throughout the space—including vintage details, family photographs, a recreation of Roxie’s chimney and patio, stones from her Driftwood property, and even her original oak dining table.

Projects like this are especially rewarding for our team because they go beyond construction. They’re about preserving a story while creating a space that can become part of a community’s next chapter.

Congratulations to the entire Roxie’s team on the wonderful feature in Texas Highways. We’re grateful Woolsey Design Build had the opportunity to play a role in this incredible project.

Some projects mean a little more.

Woolsey is proud to be nearing completion of a complex, multi-phase renovation for Vibrant Works in San Antonio, an organization that has been empowering people with vision loss since 1933.

Working inside a fully operational facility serving more than 100 employees required careful phasing, constant coordination, and a commitment to keeping people safe and operations moving throughout construction.

Our work has touched nearly every part of the facility, from manufacturing and production areas to executive offices, accounting, HR, the boardroom, breakroom, restrooms, and other critical spaces, improving flow, function, safety, and the everyday working environment.

What makes this project especially meaningful is the mission happening inside these walls. Vibrant Works creates meaningful career opportunities for people who are blind or visually impaired while manufacturing U.S. made military apparel and other mission critical products supporting our nation’s military and government customers.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to help improve the facilities that support this incredible San Antonio organization and the people behind its mission.

Federal COVID-19 relief funding is supporting a range of long-term initiatives in New Braunfels. The city allocated about $11 million toward housing, mobility, healthcare, youth and family services, including Apple Seeds Apartments, which aims to provide affordable housing and resources to help working families build financial stability.
