Leaky Irrigation Valve? We’ve Got It Covered! 🔧🌱

08/08/2026

💧
Today, Green Hammer Irrigation replaced a leaking irrigation valve that was wasting water and affecting the system’s performance.
A small valve leak can turn into a bigger problem—higher water bills, low pressure, soggy areas, and unnecessary water waste. We removed the faulty valve, installed a new one, and tested the system to make sure everything is operating properly. ✅
If you notice water around your valve box or your irrigation system isn’t working like it should, give us a call!

Another irrigation repair completed by Green Hammer Irrigation!
In this video, we’re replacing a 1½-inch irrigation control valve along with its decoder on a 2-wire irrigation system.
Two-wire systems are commonly used on larger commercial and high-end irrigation systems. Instead of running individual station wires back to the controller, each valve uses a decoder that communicates with the controller through the same 2-wire path.
When a valve or decoder fails, proper troubleshooting is important to identify the problem without unnecessarily replacing other components.
✅ 1½” valve replacement
✅ Decoder replacement & programming
✅ 2-wire system troubleshooting
✅ Wiring and waterproof connections
✅ System testing after repair
From conventional irrigation systems to advanced 2-wire and decoder systems, Green Hammer Irrigation has the experience to diagnose and repair them correctly. 💪💦

Another custom irrigation project by Green Hammer Irrigation!
In this video, we’re installing a pump system designed to pull water from the river and supply the property’s irrigation system. Instead of relying on the municipal water supply, this setup allows the irrigation system to utilize an available natural water source.
A successful pump-fed irrigation system is about more than installing a pump. Proper sizing, suction piping, filtration, pressure, flow, check valves, and irrigation demand all have to work together for reliable performance.

🌱 Irrigation system integration
📐 Proper pressure & flow planning
🔧 Professional installation
Every property is different, and sometimes the best irrigation solution requires a little engineering and creativity!

Today's repair was replacing an irrigation controller after diagnosing a failed PCM (Program Control Module). A bad PCM can cause stations not to run correctly, valves to stay off, or the controller to stop communicating with the system.
Many people assume the problem is a bad valve or broken wiring, but sometimes the controller itself is the real issue. After installing the new controller, we tested every zone, programmed the watering schedule, and made sure the entire irrigation system was operating properly.
At Green Hammer Irrigation, we don't just replace parts—we diagnose the real problem and provide the right solution the first time.
