Today, our family and our company honor the life of my grandfather/Papa, James “Jimmy” Collins.
He was the one who introduced me to the house moving industry and taught me the value of hard work, determination, and doing a job the right way. The knowledge and lessons he shared have shaped not only my career but the person I am today.
Because of his guidance and the foundation he built, I was able to carry the business forward, eventually taking it over and giving it a new name. While the name has changed, the values he instilled—honesty, quality workmanship, and treating people with respect—remain at the heart of everything we do.
His legacy lives on in every structure we move, every challenge we overcome, and every customer we serve. We are proud to continue the work he loved and to honor the example he set for all of us.
Thank you to everyone who has reached out with your prayers, kind words, and support during this difficult time. They mean more than words can express.
Rest easy, Papa. Thank you for believing in me, teaching me this trade, and leaving behind a legacy that will continue for generations. You will always be loved, deeply missed, and never forgotten.
Jimmy was born on October 24th, 1940 and passed away on July 10th, 2026 at the age of 85
