So, we often get asked. "Why aren't you on Angie's List or Home Advisor?"

Well let me break it down for you.

1st. Angie's List isn't Angie's List anymore. It's a subsidiary of Home Advisor. Angie Hicks doesn't own the company and is barely present as CMO.

2nd. Home Advisor. "Free service." ... Free? Free to who? The home owner? No. The contractors? Definitely not.
Home Advisor charges multiple fees to the contractor. Membership fees, listing fees, job referral fees, ECT. Who pays those fees? In the long run, the home owner pays those fees. As business owners we need to bump up our pricing to cover those fees.

So why don't we use Angie's List and Home Advisor?

Most of our customers, most of our materials are bought local. We buy, sell, and provide services within our community.

However if you would rather rely on a website to refer you to quality contractors, go ahead and send a check to Angie's List\Home Advisor in Denver, Colorado. I'm sure thier community will appreciate it.
