Years ago, this bathroom was likely failing and in need of a remodel. Instead, new tile was laid over the original tile floor and shower floor.

The result? When we demolished the multiple layers of flooring, we found a rotted subfloor. Not this time.

We’re rebuilding this bathroom by taking it down to the studs, ensuring the floor joists are perfectly leveled, laying a brand new Advantech subfloor, professional waterproofing techniques, and more. This master bathroom, in Holmdel, New Jersey, is going to be perfect and new, very soon! 🔨

Wow. We can’t believe we hit this project milestone!! 🙏🎉👏🙌

Reflecting on the countless nights we’ve spent digging dirt out of our crawlspace by hand for almost 2 years now, and all of the other hard work and details it took to get to this point … it’s surreal to actually see our first basement/foundation wall! 🤩
