One thing many homeowners don’t realize is that your insurance paperwork already tells you something very important:

Your deductible is not covered.

Why?

Because Texas law requires the homeowner to pay their deductible. You’ll often even see it listed directly on your insurance estimate. That amount is your responsibility regardless of which contractor you choose.

So if your deductible is the same either way, what are you really saving by choosing the cheapest estimate?

Usually, the only one saving money is the insurance company.

Instead of asking, “Who’s the cheapest?”, ask:
