There’s something so satisfying about taking a simple head of cabbage + fresh carrots and turning them into homemade sauerkraut!

Today we’re shredding, salting, mixing, and letting nature do its thing. 🌱✨ There’s nothing quite like making food from scratch and knowing exactly what went into it!
Now I want to know… 👇

Do you make your own sauerkraut?
❤️ Love it | 😍 Never tried it | 🤔 Want to learn

And what would YOU add to homemade kraut—garlic, jalapeños, apples, or keep it classic? 🥬🥕👇

🐔☀️ Chicken keepers—here’s a simple summer idea for your flock! 🌿🥒

When those Tennessee summer temperatures start climbing, keeping fresh, clean water available is one of the most important things we can do for our chickens.

We like adding a few cucumber slices and fresh herbs like mint or basil to a separate water treat. 🥒🌱 It can be a fun way to encourage them to drink while giving them something interesting to peck at!

⚠️ Important: Always keep their regular plain, fresh water available. Infused water should be an extra—not a replacement.
