From the rear - the full picture. Pool terrace, glass garage door, cypress accent, covered porch. Every great space begins as a concept on paper. This is what the clients see before the first shovel goes in. Getting this right is everything.

Definitely still a favorite. Thanks for the feature Dwell ! ! !

Nearly 70 years later, the instantly recognizable modernist chair set is still enjoying cult status.

Some of the best design moments are the ones you can't plan for. Late afternoon light (always changing with the seasons), walnut paneling, a perfectly placed mirror and a marble sill catching the angle just right.

Eighteen feet of ceiling height and not a wasted inch. A blackened steel fireplace wall anchors the space, while the kitchen beyond stays light and open — proof that scale and warmth aren't mutually exclusive.

Conceived for a client in Watersound on Florida's Hwy 30A: the Dining Room includes a brick accent wall, exposed beams crossing overhead, and an arched alcove to a repetitive arched hallway (spine through the house). Renderings like this are where a project starts to feel real before a single wall goes up. And speaking of walls, the fifth wall (ceiling) is the most overlooked opportunity in residential design.

This is what happens when you take historic character seriously. A landing that could have been forgotten — dark walls, an ornate tin ceiling, abundant windows catching afternoon light. New space, made to feel restored, done right, amplifying the past.

The courtyard as a room. A lap pool, a wood accent wall, tropical plantings, and architecture that wraps the outdoor space like a giant hug, rather than turning its back on it. Outdoor living at its most considered.

Each time I see this it reads new to me. Really love how the intentional shadow lines we created with all the layers on this staircase provide continued interest.
