There’s nothing subtle about this bathroom, and that was exactly the point.

The black marble creates the drama, but it’s the contrast that makes the entire space work. A sculptural freestanding tub, oversized glass shower, clean white surfaces and modern lighting keep the darker finishes from overwhelming the room.

It’s bold without being overdone, and every material has a reason for being there.

Because sometimes the best rooms in a home should make you stop for a second.

A new month is here, fall is right around the corner, and there’s a lot happening behind the scenes at Richland.

We’ve been working on several new projects that we’re excited to finally start sharing, along with plenty of progress across Nashville.

Some you may have seen coming. Others, we’ve been keeping under wraps.

Either way, the next few months are going to be busy around here.

A building can be finished. Our responsibility isn’t.

At Richland Building Partners, we think beyond the day construction ends or the keys are handed over.

We think about how a space will live five, ten and twenty years from now. How the materials will age. How the floor plan will function. How the property will contribute to its neighborhood. And whether the decisions we make today will still feel like the right ones years from now.

That perspective shapes everything we do, from land acquisition and design to construction, delivery and beyond.

Being vertically integrated means we have ownership throughout the entire process. There isn’t a point where the vision gets passed off to someone else and becomes their responsibility.

It stays ours.

And we mean it.

The details are what take a project from good to something people remember. The way materials come together. The alignment of every finish. The decisions that might go unnoticed individually, but completely change how the finished space looks and feels.

That level of attention doesn’t happen at the end of a project. It’s part of the process from day one.

Because when you’re building something meant to last, the little things aren’t really little.

The standard is higher here.

One community, three completely different ways to stay.

That was part of the vision behind Noa Nashville. Instead of creating one home and repeating it, the community was designed with a mix of residences that give guests options depending on how they want to experience Nashville.

There are eight 4-bedroom townhomes with rooftop terraces, four 5-bedroom carriage homes with extra space for larger groups, and four single-family homes offering nearly 2,000 square feet of space and a little more privacy.

Pictured here is one of the single-family homes, with 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, and a layout designed to feel like a true home away from home.

Different floor plans. Different ways to experience the property. All within the same Noa Nashville community and steps from amenities including the pool, sauna, cold plunge, fitness center, fire pit, and courtyard.

We’re proud of how this project came together and the variety we were able to create within one Nashville development.

There are certain details we include because we know they’ll make a difference long after construction is finished.

In this Green Hills home, that meant creating spaces that work just as well for a quiet night at home as they do with a house full of people. A covered porch with a fireplace, a chef’s kitchen with a spacious butler’s pantry, laundry on both levels, an oversized bonus room, and a primary suite filled with natural light.

We also wanted the home to feel connected from room to room, which is why you’ll find arched openings, warm finishes, generous windows, and spaces that feel distinct without feeling disconnected.

And doing all of that in 37215, just minutes from Bandywood and the best of Green Hills, made this one especially fun to bring to life.

We’re proud of what we created here and even more excited for someone to call it home.

There’s a reason we called it The Jesse.

In 1875, after a failed bank robbery, legendary outlaw Jesse James was quietly relocated to East Nashville, where he lived under an alias just blocks from what is now 730 Main Street.

More than 150 years later, that lesser-known piece of neighborhood history became the inspiration behind the name.

The Jesse is a nod to East Nashville’s past, bold moves, second chances, and stories worth retelling.

Because sometimes the best names already have a story behind them.

Noa Nashville was designed to feel like more than a collection of homes. The architecture and layout were planned to create a true sense of place.

The brick exteriors, clean lines, oversized windows, covered porches, and thoughtful landscaping give the community a timeless look, while the way the homes are positioned around shared spaces makes the entire property feel connected.

With only 16 residences, the plan was intentionally intimate, bringing together private homes with amenities like the pool, sauna, cold plunge, fitness space, fire pit, and courtyard right within the community.

Every detail, from the architecture to the landscaping to how you move through the property, was considered as part of the bigger picture.

That’s what we wanted Noa Nashville to be: a place where the architecture looks good individually, but feels even better as a whole.
