With ULI Fall Meeting coming up in Miami…it got us thinking about the ULI Spring Meeting!
EOA was honored to help bring ULI’s 2026 Spring Meeting to life in Nashville. We joined more than 4,500 real estate leaders for a dynamic week featuring 33 development tours and insightful sessions with hundreds of industry experts and panelists.

We were especially proud to have several EOA projects on tour, including the New Nissan Stadium, Tennessee State Museum, Chamberlain House, Ten21, Friends in Low Places, Red Oak Towns and Flats, Inspiritus, BNA Concourse A—and many more. Showcasing our city to attendees from around the world was a highlight for our entire team.

Swipe for a few highlights from these amazing moments and tours!

Exciting News!
Brittany Doseck has been promoted to Associate! Brittany has been with EOA since the start of 2022 and has demonstrated valued leadership skills alongside a sensitivity in design, resulting in community-focused projects like the recently completed ‘Old Hickory Community Center’ and ‘Highland East’, a purposeful residential community designed for affordable living and showcasing Nashville’s first trail-oriented development.

Brittany will continue to oversee firm projects while mentoring younger staff members through EOA’s Emerging Professionals Committee. She has also served many leadership roles within AIA Middle Tennessee and is a member of the Nashville Rotaract.

Congratulations Brittany!

Catch a special exhibit at the Tennessee State Museum!
As the United States commemorates its 250th anniversary, Tennessee Voices, American Stories explores how individual Tennesseans have connected with and contributed to the creation and development of the nation.

The exhibit features three areas centered on key concepts from the preamble to the United States Constitution: “We the People,” “A More Perfect Union,” and “The Blessings of Liberty.” Each area includes artifacts and stories related to remarkable people who helped to build Tennessee and the United States.

Catch this wonderful exhibit through January 3, 2027.

Congratulations, Will!
We’re excited to share that Will Smith has passed his final NCIDQ exam and is now an officially certified Interior Designer in the State of Tennessee!
Swipe for a few celebration photos including our traditional haiku(s) and limericks in Will’s honor.

The NCIDQ certification is the industry’s highest standard, confirming a designer’s expertise in human-centered design, building codes and life safety, accessibility, sustainability, FF&E, construction documentation, project management, and contract administration. It reflects a deep commitment to creating interior environments that protect the health, safety, and well-being of all occupants.

We’re so proud of you, Will!

Congratulations to EOA Principal Tracey Ford in being accepted into the 2026-2027 class of Leadership Nashville. This nine-month independent executive program will be the organization’s 50th cohort.

Forty-six participants were chosen from over 300 applications. Alumni and the public nominate established leaders who are willing to devote time to an in-depth study of Metro Nashville Davidson County. The course will begin in September and focuses on issues related to government and media, diversity, business, education, quality of life, health, arts and entertainment, and public safety.

Evette White, executive director of the program, said the key to Leadership Nashville’s success over the past 50 years is the diverse leadership experience of its participants.

Tracey joins a distinguished group of EOA alumni, including Gary Everton and Sheila Dial Barton. Congratulations, Tracey!

Honored to be recognized for our design of Emblem Park by AIA Tennessee! Emblem Park is a mixed-use residential community that serves as a connector between the Chestnut Hill and Wedgewood Houston neighborhoods in Nashville.

As noted by the jury, “This large multifamily development demonstrates the importance of design at multiple scales. The jury admired how the project creates identity through massing, materiality, and the integration of existing structures. The adaptive reuse component is especially compelling, serving both as design inspiration and as a reminder that new development can build meaning from what is already there. The project successfully balances density, memory, and neighborhood transition.”

This project was a collaboration with SomeraRoad and our friends at MZA Architecture • Interiors▪️ Manuel Zeitlin Architects.

We are proud to announce that Christ Church Cathedral received an Award of Merit at the AIA Tennessee Design Awards!

Per jury comments, “This project carefully lifts up and frames the historic church through a new architectural intervention that is both deferential and contemporary. The jury admired the way the new “veil” creates transparency, connection, and a meaningful dialogue between old and new. The interior details are simple, clean, and refined, allowing the historic fabric to remain central while giving the place new life and relevance. It is a thoughtful and respectful addition to an important civic and sacred space.”

Congratulations to all of our fellow AIA Tennessee winners.

Macy is amazing!

We were thrilled to welcome Macy Steingrube into our studio this summer from UT College of Architecture and Design. Macy is a rising senior pursuing a BFA in Graphic Design with minors in Industrial Design and Advertising & PR.

She joined us with a strong foundation in visual storytelling and illustration, and a clear passion for packaging design and the experiences it creates for users. Macy was a natural fit with our “humanizing design” ethos and played a key role in developing branded collateral for our firm throughout the summer.

Here are a few snapshots from Macy’s time in Nashville over the past few months. We’ll miss you, Macy—come back and see us next spring!

So proud to introduce Chamberlain House! We were proud to attend the grand opening this week with our client, team, friends, family and the Chamberlain community.

Chamberlain House is a vibrant new residential destination spanning two city blocks along 2nd Avenue North. Anchoring this exciting mixed-use vision is Phase I: a thoughtfully designed 345-unit multifamily community surrounded by key urban corridors and lush greenway connections.

Chamberlain House was realized through a collaborative design partnership of EOA with Axiom Architecture (Charlotte) and Manuel Zeitlin Architects (Nashville), bringing together regional expertise to shape a distinctive new address in Nashville.
