It’s !!! 🙌 Hôtel du Monarque 🦋 is finally ready to host its guests. 😊 The guest bathroom remodel in my home started about 2 years ago due to a leaky shower head and life/work got crazy & I finally got it finished, thanks to the help of my crew! Plans don’t always go to plan in life or design/construction, so being able to pivot, make it work, and still create a beautiful peaceful space is vital. 😎 I love my new Delta Faucet soaking tub and shower & tub trim set, pre-fabbed tiled walls, timeless, moody & gorgeous Sherwin-Williams paint, Kingston Brass vintage vanity faucet that goes with my house, Kohler round mirror, floral black wallpaper I framed and accessories to bring it all together. I reused this black vanity from my main bath since it works much better in this space. New vanity light too that I put on a dimmer for a more relaxing bubble bath experience. 😊

Got a bathroom in your home with a drippy faucet or tub, or just wanting a refresh? I’m a local licensed GC who will listen to your ideas, guide you in the design process and the best options for your budget, and execute the renovation from start to finish efficiently, excellently and beautifully. 👷‍♀️

: Way back when I was in a songwriting class at MTSU, we talked about how important it is to develop the skill of Editing in art. I’ve carried that same skill set into the design & construction world when trying to decide on paint colors. 🎨 😁
I can use various apps and AI tools for inspiration or visualization, but nothing seems to beat taking a bunch of samples home and moving them all around the space. Slowly eliminating and editing as I go, looking at each with all the colors in the space, day light, night light, seeing how they go together or don’t. This process takes some time, but it’s worth it as colors always look different in your actual space than on a screen or in a store. I work just as hard for my clients when selecting design choices and colors as I do for my own space, pulling from their preferences and ideas, trusting my intuition and abilities, and eventually creating beautiful spaces (and works of art) in the end. 😊 😍 Another reason to hire a GC with an eye for design and can do it all turnkey! 👷‍♀️

Give me the green light! 😍😎 💚 Before, during and after a we recently completed. Not shown, all the different design options we went through before landing on the chair rail with this gorgeous color green ( ). We incorporated the maple rye color Cabintery and Custom Shelves, as well as the black and ch*****ne gold fixtures we had already done in their kitchen. Upgraded the bath fan, toilet, and hardware too. Love how it all came out and tied together!! 😊

Which accent wall idea do you prefer for this nook?

Help!! 😬 Trying to decide which option is best for this space given the more traditional trim details that are currently in this home. Would love to keep this wallpaper and integrate it into the design and some reflective elements (I.e. mirror, lighting, maybe some floating shelves with decorative pieces). I am considering putting a bench below for storage, TV and console shelves to remain there as well. My carpenters are miracle workers and can do any custom idea. The wainscoting panels would be above around the mirror & wallpaper too divided into 3 sections, but AI images could not seem to show that option.

It's at my own house today!! 🙌😫💪Leaky old plumbing valves in my primary bath forced the urgency, but I am so excited to bring in NEW energy and to know things are done right. 😎 It's always scary not knowing what's behind the walls, but just gotta be sure to get the right people around you to help put it back together and !! 🙏
Big thanks to for their patience in letting me agonize over 100s of samples and helping me narrow down my design vision for this bathroom. Designing is my favorite part of any job and I love doing it for my clients, but it's so much harder to decide selections when it's your own safe space. I have a deeper empathy for all the emotions my clients go through in our renovation projects.
I can't wait to start seeing it come together!! 😍🏡 Out with the old!! It's finally time for new!! 😊

This year has not been without its challenges and dark days for so many of us, but there is hope, peace, light, and joy to be found today, next year, and forever because of this special day. 😊🙌🙏
Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year!! 🎄

🔔 “And in despair I bowed my head
There is no peace on earth I said
For hate is strong and mocks the song
Of peace on earth, good will to men.

Then rang the bells more loud and deep
God is not dead, nor doth He sleep.
The wrong shall fail, the right prevail
With peace on earth, good will to men.” 🔔
