🏈 Boiler Up… or Boiler Down? We’ve Got a Fence for That. 😄

This Niles, Michigan, homeowner went with a color combination that really stands out: 350 feet of 6' vinyl privacy fencing with black posts and almond sections. A clean, modern look that ties in beautifully with both the house and the shed.

Before the new fence could go in, Kaiden and the team tackled the removal of 250 feet of old wood fencing, clearing the way for a fresh start.

The finished result brings privacy, durability, and a coordinated look to the entire property—all without sacrificing style.

Now, we have one important question: Is this a Purdue fan’s backyard, or did someone just pick the perfect colors? 🖤💛

Great work by Kaiden and the team getting this transformation done!

🏊‍♂️ Poolside Perfection in Nappanee, Indiana!

A safe pool is a fenced pool—and when the finished product looks this good, safety and style go hand in hand.

Backyard Pools knocked another one out of the park with this beautiful new pool in Nappanee, and Mike’s Fencing was proud to help bring the entire outdoor space together.

The centerpiece is a 6' two-tone vinyl privacy fence, pairing crisp white posts and rails with slate-colored infill. The contrast complements the pool beautifully while offering a practical advantage: all-white vinyl fencing can create significant glare in direct sunlight, while the slate infill helps break up that brightness and gives the fence a more refined, modern appearance.

But this project wasn't just about the pool.

A matching 5' privacy fence screens the pool equipment and house generator, keeping the functional necessities tucked out of sight and preserving the clean look of the backyard. And where the property has an egress window drop-off, 3' Elite aluminum fencing adds a protective barrier without making the area feel closed in.

Every section serves a purpose, and every detail works together.

The result? A beautiful, coordinated outdoor space that balances pool safety, privacy, functionality, and curb appeal.

And let's talk about those photos! Jesus absolutely nailed them. 📷 Honestly, some of these shots look like they belong in a home and garden magazine.

Big thanks to Backyard Pools for another great project together, Jesus and the crew for another outstanding fence install, and congratulations to the homeowners on an incredible backyard!

🌳🔨 Not Every Fence Install Starts with a Clean Slate... 🔨🌳

Some projects require a little extra determination.

For this homeowner, the goal was to replace an aging 222' chain link fence with something that offered more privacy, a better appearance, and a greater sense of seclusion. The challenge? The fence line wound its way through a jungle of mature trees, roots, and obstacles that made access anything but easy.

That didn't stop Mike and the crew.

After removing the existing 4' chain link fence, they installed 222' of 6' board-to-board wood privacy fence, carefully working through the heavily wooded area to create a clean, continuous fence line.

The transformation is dramatic.

What was once an open fence line is now a private backyard retreat with the natural beauty of wood and the privacy the homeowner was looking for. The board-to-board design provides excellent screening while fitting naturally into the wooded surroundings.

Projects like this are a great reminder that some of the best-looking finished products come from the most challenging job sites.

🌲 Trees. Roots. Obstacles. No problem.

✨🏡 From Storm-Damaged to Stunning in Elkhart 🏡✨

Some fence projects are repairs. Others are complete transformations.

After their existing wood fence suffered significant damage, this homeowner decided it was time for a long-term solution. Jesus and the team stepped in and replaced 477' of damaged wood fencing with 477' of 6' tall white vinyl privacy fence, giving the property a fresh new look and years of low-maintenance performance.

But the transformation didn't stop there.

The property also had an older wood split rail fence along the front. While it had served its purpose, it simply wouldn't have matched the clean appearance of the new privacy fence. To tie the entire property together, the homeowner chose to replace it with white vinyl split rail fencing, creating a cohesive look from the front of the property all the way around the backyard.

The result is:
🤍 Consistent curb appeal across the entire property
🔒 Privacy and security where it matters most
🧼 No painting, staining, or rotting wood to worry about
🏡 A fresh, clean appearance that completely changes the feel of the home

Projects like this are a reminder that replacing a fence isn't just about fixing damage—it's an opportunity to upgrade the entire property.

Great work by Jesus and the team on another beautiful transformation.

🏭🛡️ Safety Comes First in Plymouth 🛡️🏭

Not every fence project is about curb appeal. Sometimes it's about protecting critical infrastructure and creating a safer environment for employees and visitors.

For this project in Plymouth, Indiana, Kaiden and the crew installed fencing around two tank areas for AK Industries, helping secure the equipment while improving overall site safety.

To provide additional screening, the chain link fence was outfitted with privacy slats, creating a cleaner appearance while helping limit visibility into the enclosed areas.

The finished project delivers:
✔ Enhanced site safety
✔ Controlled access around critical equipment
✔ Added visual screening with privacy slats
✔ A durable, low-maintenance solution built for an industrial environment

Projects like this may not always be flashy, but they play an important role in helping businesses protect their facilities and operate safely every day.

🪨🐕 Sometimes the Ground Fights Back... But the Dogs Still Win! 🐕

If you've ever worked with the ground in Northern Indiana, you know that not every yard is created equal. This Wakarusa project seemed determined to test the crew, with rocks appearing at nearly every turn.

Fortunately, Kaiden and the crew don't back down from a challenge.

Despite the rocky conditions, they completed 82' of 6' tall Elite EFF-20 white aluminum fencing to create a safe, secure dog run for this homeowner's four-legged family member.

The finished fence provides:
🐾 A secure area for dogs to run and play
🤍 The clean, timeless look of white aluminum
🌦️ A durable, low-maintenance solution
🏡 An attractive addition to the property

While most people will see a beautiful finished fence, Kaiden and the crew will probably remember all the rocks hiding underneath it! 😆

In the end, the challenge was worth it, and now the homeowner has a secure space where their dogs can safely enjoy the outdoors.

There's something special about when a customer calls you back for another project.

After helping this homeowner secure their riverfront property with aluminum fencing, they trusted Mike and the crew once again—this time for their home on Greenleaf Boulevard in Elkhart.

For this project, Mike and the crew installed 368' of 4' tall black vinyl chain link fence, complete with an 8' double swing gate for larger access needs and a 4' walk gate for convenient everyday use.

Black vinyl chain link continues to be one of the most popular options for homeowners because it provides the security and containment of traditional chain link while blending naturally into the landscape. The result is a clean, attractive fence that protects the property without dominating the view.

Whether it's aluminum along the river or chain link around the backyard, we're grateful when customers trust us to help improve multiple properties over the years.

Thank you for the continued business and trust in Mike's Fencing!

🏡✨ A Little Extra Detail Goes a Long Way ✨🏡

Not every fence needs to be massive to make a big impact.

This homeowner in La Paz chose 74' of 6' board-to-board privacy fence to create a more private backyard space, but they didn't stop there. By adding cap and trim, the fence takes on a more refined, finished appearance that elevates the entire project.

And while the cap and trim are what you'll notice first, the real strength of this fence is hidden beneath the surface.

Instead of traditional wood posts, this fence was built using steel posts, providing superior strength and stability while eliminating one of the most common causes of fence failure: rotting wood posts at ground level.

The result is a fence that delivers:
🌲 Privacy where it matters
🏡 Enhanced curb appeal
✨ A polished, upscale finish
🔩 A steel backbone built to last

Sometimes it's the finishing touches that make a fence look exceptional—and the hidden details that ensure it stays that way for years to come.
