**If you could change ONE thing about your home right now, what would it be? 🎨🏠**

Would you...

🎨 Finally change that wall color you've been tired of for years?

🍳 Give your kitchen cabinets a completely different look?

🖼 Add wallpaper or a statement wall that gives the room some personality?

🏡 Freshen up the exterior and boost your curb appeal?

🔨 Or finally tackle that room that's been sitting on the "someday" list?

Sometimes you don't need a major remodel to make your home feel different. A fresh coat of paint, updated cabinets, new wallpaper, or a little repair work can completely change a space.

**So what's YOUR next project?**

Tell us in the comments. 👇 We'd love to hear what everyone has on their wish list!

And if you're ready to move yours from **"someday" to "done,"** Preferred Painting would be happy to help.

**Alright, Chicagoland homeowners... let's see 'em. 😄**

We all have that ONE room or space we've been meaning to do something about.

Maybe it's...

🎨 A paint color you can't stand anymore
🧱 Walls that have seen better days
🚪 Peeling or beat-up trim
🖼 Wallpaper that's ready for retirement
🔨 Drywall that still needs some attention
🤔 Or a room you've been saying you'll get to "next weekend" for the last three years...

**We want to see yours!**

Snap a picture and drop it in the comments. 👇

No perfectly staged homes required. In fact, **the worse it is, the more we want to see it.** 😂

And if you know someone with a room that belongs in the comments, tag them. Just be prepared for them to return the favor.

Have you ever loved a paint color at the store and questioned everything once it reached your wall?

That happens because paint changes with:

☀ Natural sunlight
💡 Warm or cool light bulbs
🛋 Furniture and flooring
🪟 The direction your windows face
🕒 The time of day

A sample can look perfect in the morning and completely different that evening.

Our advice: test the color on more than one wall and look at it throughout the day before making the final choice.

Every homeowner has said at least one of these:

“It should only need one coat.”

“The wall is basically ready.”

“We already moved most of the furniture.”

“It’s a small room.”

Which one have you said?

Painters, which one makes you smile the most? 😄

A beautiful finish matters.

So does everything that happens before and after it.

Julianne recently trusted Preferred Painting with her kitchen cabinets while her family was away over the Fourth of July weekend. Derrick stayed in touch, answered questions, worked around the family’s schedule, and made the process easier with children and a dog in the home.

After the project was finished, the painter returned the next day for a small touch-up with no questions asked.

That is the type of service we want every customer to remember.

Thank you, Julianne, for trusting our team and sharing your experience.
