🤝 Thank you, Community Access Naperville!

Last week, our team joined CAN at Naperville Country Club for their Fall Fundraiser.

This year's goal: a new program van, so the adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in CAN's programs have a safe, reliable ride to work, volunteer shifts, and outings around town.

This is our second year supporting CAN, and we're so excited to continue doing so. They make sure everyone has a place in this community ❤️

This Naperville couple first worked with us on their kitchen in 2013. In 2015 we built them a screen room addition. In 2019 we came back for their primary bath and an interior renovation.

When a family trusts you with their home more than once, that says more than anything we could say about ourselves. Thank you, Margie, for the kind words, and for letting us be part of your home all these years. ❤️

🏡 One addition, two places to spend time outside. Designed and built by our in-house team.

Up top is a deck off the second floor, with room for a table and a view of the whole yard.

Underneath is a covered patio with lounge seating, so there's shade and a dry spot when it rains.

French doors open straight onto the pavers, so getting outside takes one step instead of a walk around the side of the house. 🌳

⚒️ A remodel doesn't mean living in a construction zone. Here's how Reliable manages a project from taking over your whole house:

Before work starts, we protect your floors, carpets, doors, handrails, and put up dust and zip walls to seal off the workspace. Lumber gets staged in one organized spot, and the dumpster and portable restroom get a designated area. Plumbing materials are organized in your garage or another safe spot in the house, not scattered across the job site.

👷 We also don't wait until the end to clean up.

We refresh the space as the job progresses. On a weekly basis, cabinets and floor vents get vacuumed, surfaces and windowsills get wiped down, floors get swiffered, and every bit of protection comes down. It's a small thing that makes a big difference when you're living there during the project.

That's part of what "one team, one point of contact" actually looks like, day to day.
