A story built one project, one relationship, one challenge, and one person at a time. For 50 years, Nova Group has grown and changed with the industry, but the things that matter most have stayed the same: doing good work, looking out for one another, and taking pride in what we create together.

Ronald "Ron" Moore dedicated approximately 30 years to Nova. He began his career in 1985 by helping install the half-mile branch line connecting Nova's Napa office to the local sanitation trunk line. He later served as a Project Manager on numerous fuel systems and marine projects before spending more than 10 years as Vice President of Operations.

Throughout his career, Ron led complex projects across the U.S. and internationally, including design-build work for the U.S. government in Canada, Israel, and Qatar.

Arthur "Art" Mendoza has been part of the Nova team since the year 2000, starting as a carpenter before transitioning to a Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) for more than 25 years. Today, Art continues to support Nova's work on the Utility Infrastructure Project in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, for the Department of Homeland Security/U.S. Coast Guard. Work is nearing completion at Yokota Air Base in Japan, where Nova Group is leading Phase 1 of a Jet Fuel Bulk Storage Tank project to support reliable fueling operations. The fuel system was commissioned in late June, and crews are now focused on final punch list items as the project moves toward closeout.

Nova Group is thrilled to share that we've been awarded the F-22 Fuel Systems project at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER) in Alaska! Our team will be providing critical Petroleum, Oil, and Lubricant (POL) infrastructure to support the 5th-generation F-22 fighter aircraft.

This project is another opportunity for Nova Group to showcase our expertise and commitment to delivering quality infrastructure. Stay tuned for updates as we get to work in Alaska!
