Last week, our crew worked through the sports field retaining wall pour, bringing another major piece of the project together with careful planning, solid coordination, and steady ex*****on.

A big shoutout to Spec Formliners and Jamie for the hands-on support at Wappinger, New York project last week.

Jamie joined our team on site to review our installation methods and QA/QC process for the decorative block formliner being installed on the exposed face of the field retaining wall. Having that level of product knowledge and field support helped us confirm the setup, details, and installation approach before moving forward.

Strong projects are built through strong partnerships, and we appreciate having knowledgeable partners who are willing to step into the field and work alongside the crew.

For GCs, the best coordination issue is the one that gets resolved before it ever reaches the field.

Our VDC workflow helps identify clashes, rebar congestion, layout conflicts, and design changes early, so they can be addressed before they affect crews, sequencing, or the schedule.

The result: fewer field surprises, smoother coordination, less rework, and a more predictable concrete scope.

Because when the job is moving fast, the concrete contractor should help keep it moving, not slow it down.

Another major placement completed at our Wappingers, New York project.

Our team recently poured 270 cubic yards of concrete for a retaining wall footing, marking an important step forward in the overall build. A pour of this scale takes more than manpower. It requires careful sequencing, clear communication, solid preparation, and a crew that stays focused from the first truck to the final placement.

The team brought their A-game throughout the operation, working together to keep the pour controlled, efficient, and on track.

We’re proud of the ex*****on in the field and the commitment shown by everyone involved. We also want to thank the GC, Butler Construction Group for their support and professionalism in executing this pour and for the opportunity to continue contributing to its progress.
