👻 We’re not saying your house is haunted… but your HVAC is making some suspicious noises. 👀

Banging, rattling, squealing, or a furnace that sounds like it’s trying to communicate with the other side? 👻 Those noises might be more than just a Halloween scare!

🎃 Don’t let a small problem turn into a frightening surprise this winter. Get your furnace checked out and make sure your home is ready for the colder days ahead.

Happy Halloween from our family to yours! 🧡

🚨🥶 FIRST COLD MORNING… AND YOUR FURNACE DECIDES IT'S STILL ON SUMMER VACATION?! 🥶🚨

🔥 You turn up the thermostat, wait for that warm air to kick on… and NOTHING! 😳❄️

DON'T LET A BROKEN FURNACE LEAVE YOU OUT IN THE COLD!

As temperatures drop across the Treasure Valley, homeowners are firing up their furnaces for the first time this season.

Unfortunately, some are finding out their heat isn't working!

🔧 Before you call for service, here are a few simple things to check:

✅ Thermostat: Make sure it's set to HEAT and the temperature is set higher than the current room temperature.

🔋 Batteries: If your thermostat uses batteries, try replacing them. Sometimes it's that simple!

🌬️ Air Filter: Check for a dirty or clogged filter. Restricted airflow can cause your furnace to overheat and shut down.

⚡ Power: Make sure your furnace switch is ON and the breaker hasn't tripped. If the breaker trips again, don't keep resetting it.

🔥 Still no heat? That's where we come in!

At Custom Air Heating & Cooling, we're here to get your heat working without breaking the bank!

🌡️ Be honest: What temperature is your thermostat set to right now? 😂

Because in Idaho, that answer could be 62°… or 72°… depending on which side of the house you’re standing on.

Cold morning? Turn the heat on.
Afternoon sunshine? Suddenly you’re opening windows.
Idaho weather: “I’ll see your thermostat setting and raise you 20 degrees.” 😅

👇 Drop your thermostat temperature in the comments!
We promise we won’t judge… too much. 😉

🍂 Well, Nampa, Idaho… 46° this morning, rain in the forecast, and we’re only hitting the upper 50s today. Looks like furnace season is officially making its comeback! 🥶

Here are a few signs it might be plotting against you:

🔥 Strange noises — banging, rattling, or squealing that definitely weren’t there before.

🥶 Uneven temperatures — some rooms are cozy while others feel like you left a window open.

💸 Rising energy bills — your heating bill is getting a little too comfortable being expensive.

🌬️ Constant cycling — your furnace keeps turning on and off like it can’t make up its mind.

🚫 Cold air from the vents — the one thing your furnace absolutely should NOT be doing.

Don’t let a struggling furnace ruin your fall comfort. If yours is showing signs of trouble, Custom Air Heating & Cooling is here to help!
