Fire restoration isn't just "clean up the smoke damage" sometimes it's a full gut job. 🔥
If you missed Part 1, we started at the beginning of this fire loss. Now we're back inside to show why even areas that didn't burn still had to go: fire creates pressure that pushes soot underneath drywall and into cabinets, which is why a full gut-out is sometimes the only way to do it right. New insulation, new plumbing, sealed structure, this home is getting a true fresh start.

Restoration work only happens because of the trades who show up alongside us. Big thank you to the contractors who've helped get this house back to where it is today, we can't wait to get this family home. 🏡

This home flooded from a water heater failure, and the water didn't stay in one room, it traveled through the wall, into the pantry and kitchen, and all the way into the garage. Connor walks through what's already been done (containment set up, fans and dehumidifiers running, wet flooring and carpet pad removed) and what's still ahead, including pulling tile and checking blown-in insulation that's still holding moisture.
This is why a thorough inspection matters: water damage isn't always where you can see it.
