**After installing 1,000+ roofs in Boise, this is probably my biggest fear as a roofer:**

Homeowners choosing the cheapest option just to save a few hundred dollars.

Because those savings usually come from somewhere.

Lower-quality materials.
Skipped roofing components.
Rushed installation.
Weak warranties.

And the hard part is, a cheap roof can still look perfectly fine right after it is installed.

The problems often show up later.

That is why I always tell homeowners to compare more than just the bottom-line price.

Look at the shingles, underlayment, flashing, ventilation, labor warranty, and who is actually standing behind the work.

The goal is not to buy the most expensive roof.

It is to buy the right roof once.
