Dry-in day on this one. Panels going down over staged insulation, netting up, crew working the open bays.

You only open as much deck as you can close the same day. That insulation cannot get rained on, and around here you are always watching the afternoon. Once the roof is on, the building is weathertight, and the interior trades can keep moving regardless of what the sky does.

That is most of what construction management looks like on a commercial project. Reading the schedule and the weather at the same time.

Steel isn't the right answer for every project, but for most commercial builds, it performs best over time.

A pre-engineered metal building goes up faster than conventional construction and holds up against weather, pests, and daily equipment traffic. Details like oversized overhead doors, ridge ventilation, and daylight panels get designed into the frame from the start instead of worked around later.

This is the stage most people picture when they think about a steel building going up. The frame is standing, lifts are setting the last pieces, and panels are staged and ready to close it in.

What gets a crew to this point rarely gets noticed. Permitting, engineering review, material lead times, and site prep all had to line up before a single beam went vertical.

Yes, our job sites come with good company 🐶 This pup keeps an eye on things and is one of our very best employees!

Once the steel shell is up, the real coordination work moves inside. Metal stud framing, rough openings for doors and overhead access, and layout for what comes next all have to happen in the right order before drywall or finish work can even start.

It's not the most photogenic stage of a build, but it's where we catch a lot of problems before they become expensive.

A slab is only as strong as what goes in before the concrete does 💪 Before any pour, our team places a v***r barrier, sets rebar to spec, and checks every line and tie twice.

It's not the most visible part of a build, but it's one of the most important. Get this stage right and everything built on top of it holds up the way it should. It's another example of how the Rigid Building team has done it right since 1968!
