This yard was not in good shape when we started treating it. By summer that year, it was already filling in! Now four years later, it’s still one of the top notch yards in the neighborhood.

A Saturday morning appreciation post! Our techs have been putting in the work getting pre-emergent down across the OKC Metro.

Good lawns don’t happen by accident. What goes on underground matters, and that's why a pre-emergent barrier is so important. Many of the w**ds that will cause problems in the spring start germinating long before you ever see them. Pre-emergent works behind the scenes, creating a barrier that helps stop those w**ds as they germinate.

Because once they’re up and growing, prevention time is over—it becomes a w**d-control problem instead.

A little work now goes a long way later. 🙌

Mowing and watering properly is so important. Check out the difference in these two lawns. Same weather, and the lawns are side by side. It’s best to keep your lawn 2.5-3” in the summer, never cutting off more than 1/4” of the blade at a time. Water up to 1” once a week. This will help eleviate stress, thinning areas, and w**d opportunity and keep those roots growing strong!
