Instead of opening up the entire shower or replacing the surrounding tile, we were able to modernize it by installing a new single-handle valve along with a clean conversion cover plate.

But, we wanted to post a little reminder to make sure you're weather aware & your plumbing is prepared!🌬❄️
✅️Allow small drips from faucet overnight to relieve pressure.
✅️ If pipes run through cabinets or vanities, open those doors to let the warm room temperature flow in.
✅️Disconnect all outside hoses!
✅️Try to keep your thermostat above 60 degrees (day/night)
