A roof can look fine from the surface while problems are hiding underneath.

Once we removed the existing roofing around this chimney, we found damaged decking caused by the previous roof system. Because we remove all layers and inspect the deck, we were able to address the damage properly instead of covering it back up.

We replaced the damaged decking, rebuilt the area, installed new flashing, and added a cricket behind the chimney to help direct water away from one of the most vulnerable areas of the roof.

It’s the work you can’t see when the job is finished that often matters the most. 👏
