Lumberjacks Trees Service is working diligently to maintain healthy standards to comply with social distancing in regards to the CDC's recommendations, and in hopes of keeping our customers healthy and safe.
While we recognize our services continue to exist, we can offer free estimates safely and in most instances, with no physical contact what so ever. which is vital to our customers and communities, due to recent circumstances.
Throughout our 21 years in business, we recognize, following the winter months and through spring and summer, consumers are faced with concerns of trees or tree limbs that may cause a potential threat and/or damage to their homes or the structures on their properties. We have established a series of precise questions to be asked during your initial phone call that will help to establish a well-instructed estimate to perform your project with quality, promptly, safely, and at a reasonable price.

It's Spring 2018!

With the welcoming of Spring and warmer days ahead. We all start venturing out into our yards to enjoy the sunshine. These are also the days you may notice dead branches or extending limbs hanging over your houses and yards and may consider having them trimmed. PLEASE BE CAUTIOUS! April 15th, 2018 is approaching and is the cut off date for all trimming on Oak Trees, in our area, as a preventative to the spread of Oak Wilt Disease. For further information on Oak Wilt Disease, I have attached a link. In speaking to customer's within our communities, there is very little information reaching residence in our area's. This disease is detrimental to our Oak Tree's and is a costly process and expense to remove the Trees once they are infected.
Please help our Neighbors, Communities and Surrounding Areas become aware by sharing this post.

Lumberjacks Tree Service is ready and available to help with all your tree service needs.* BE AWARE* We are presently in the middle of Oak Wilt Season, if you have Oak Trees with limbs down please spray the exposed areas with pruning sealer (GENEROUSLY ) to prevent the Picnic Beetle from feeding off and infesting your trees with this disease. Oak Wilt Disease can migrate and graft through the root of an infected tree to roots of healthy neighboring Oak Trees. Lumberjack Tree Service is scheduling estimates for early spring Oak trimming.
Because of the recent threat of a disease referred to as Oak Wilt in Muskegon and it's surrounding areas, tree services are/should be refraining from trimming various types of Oak Trees that are vulnerable to contracting this tree killing disease. We value all our customers and care about the health of your trees as well as your neighboring trees to act accordingly and will only trim Oaks until just prior to their leaves sprouting, once the trees are no longer in a dormant state and once the sap is exposed at the trimmed area a picnic beetle, which feeds off of the sap can cause threat of infection.
