MG Roofing’s First Champion of the Month!

We are incredibly proud to recognize Luis Solis as MG Roofing’s very first Champion of the Month, representing August 2026.

This recognition is especially meaningful because it comes from the people who know his work best — his fellow teammates. The Champion of the Month is nominated and voted on by peers, making this honor a true reflection of the respect Luis has earned from those who work alongside him every day.

The Champion of the Month Award was created to recognize employees who consistently live out MG Roofing’s Core Values:

🔹 Teamwork
🔹 Integrity
🔹 Relationships
🔹 Respect

Luis has been part of the MG Roofing family for over 15 years, and throughout those years he has shown what these values look like in action. He works hard, takes pride in doing quality work, encourages those around him, and is always willing to help wherever he is needed.

More importantly, Luis brings a genuine sense of care and respect to the workplace. He values family, and that same spirit carries over into the way he treats his coworkers — helping create the kind of team environment that makes MG Roofing feel like more than just a place to work.

Luis represents the heart of what this award is all about, and we could not think of a more deserving person to be named our very first Champion of the Month.

Congratulations, Luis! Thank you for your dedication, your positive spirit, and the example you continue to set for all of us. We are truly grateful to have you as part of the MG Roofing family.

👏 Please join us in congratulating Luis on this well-deserved honor!

Meet the Newest Member of the MG Roofing Team — Luther the Roofer!

Luther may be new to the shop, but he’s already mastered one of the most important lessons around here: PPE comes first!

Hard hat? ✅
Safety vest? ✅
Ready to supervise the crew? Absolutely. ✅

We have a feeling Luther is going to fit right in. He’s already bringing plenty of personality, keeping an eye on the shop, and making sure everyone remembers that safety is always part of the job.

Welcome to the team, Luther the Roofer!

We held our latest MG Roofing Safety Meeting in our new “work in progress” Training Room for the very first time! It was exciting to put the space to use as we continue building an area dedicated to training, safety, and developing our team.

This month’s safety topic was Aerial Lift Safety — reinforcing the importance of proper procedures, awareness, and making safety a priority every day.

We also officially launched the MG Roofing Core Values Recognition Program! This program gives us the opportunity to recognize team members who demonstrate the values that have helped build and strengthen MG Roofing:

⭐ TEAMWORK
⭐ INTEGRITY
⭐ RELATIONSHIPS
⭐ RESPECT

Our training room may still be a work in progress, but investing in our people, strengthening our safety culture, and recognizing the values we stand for will always be at the heart of MG Roofing.

Building more than roofs — building a stronger team.

OUR HEARTS ARE FULL!!

We did it! We celebrated 50 years of MG Roofing, and what an incredible day it was.

There really aren’t enough words to say THANK YOU to everyone who came, everyone who helped, and everyone who worked behind the scenes to make our 50th Anniversary Celebration such a special day.

Seeing so many familiar faces gathered together — current employees, former employees, families, friends, customers, and those who have been part of MG Roofing’s journey through the years — meant more to us than we can say.

Fifty years isn’t just about the number of years we’ve been in business. It’s about the people. It’s about the friendships made, the hard work shared, the challenges overcome, the laughter, the memories, and the relationships built along the way.

To everyone who has ever worn an MG Roofing shirt, climbed a ladder, worked on a roof, answered a phone, helped complete a project, trusted us with a job, encouraged us, or simply cheered us on — you are part of this story.

And to everyone who helped make our celebration a success — thank you, thank you, thank you! We couldn’t have done it without you.

We walked away from Saturday reminded once again that MG Roofing has always been about something bigger than roofing. It’s about people, relationships, hard work, and taking care of one another.

What a blessing it was to look around that room and see 50 years of memories, friendships, and history all gathered in one place.
We did it — 50 YEARS! And we are so incredibly grateful to have celebrated it with all of you.

From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU for being part of the MG Roofing family and part of our story.

Here’s to 50 years behind us and the next chapter ahead!

The Countdown is On!

This Saturday, August 8, we'll be celebrating 50 incredible years of MG Roofing! We can't wait to welcome our employees, families, retirees, customers, vendors, and friends as we celebrate the people and partnerships that have made this milestone possible.

Here's a sneak peek of our Menu......

As we celebrate our 50-year journey, we're taking a look back at where it all began.

📍 Our very first project in 1976 was the Tuscumbia Multipurpose Recreation Center, located at 601 N Commons St. E., Tuscumbia, AL 35674. This is where we will all come together to celebrate on August 8, 2026.

That first job included installing a built-up roofing system and sheet metal work. There were no computers, estimating software, or smartphones back then—just experience, determination, and an estimate carefully figured by hand on a yellow sheet of notebook paper.

The entire project was completed by a dedicated crew of just four hardworking men:
🔹 Bill Aldridge
🔹 Larry Willis
🔹 Ray Franks
🔹 Melvin Franks

Their craftsmanship and work ethic laid the foundation for everything MG Roofing has become today.

From that first roof in 1976 to the thousands of projects we've completed over the last 50 years, we're grateful for every customer, employee, supplier, and community that has been part of our story.

Here's to honoring our past, celebrating the present, and building the future—one roof at a time.

Thank you for trusting MG Roofing for the past 50 years. We couldn't have done it without you! ❤️

MG Roofing Monthly Safety Meeting breakfast. Safety topic for the month - Preventing Head Injuries on Construction Sites

At MG Roofing, safety is more than a requirement—it's a commitment to protecting every member of our team. Head injuries remain one of the most serious hazards in the construction industry, but they are also among the most preventable when proper safety practices are followed.

07/13/2026

As we celebrate 50 years of MG Roofing, we're taking a moment to honor the people who built our company—one roof, one project, and one relationship at a time.

These memories remind us of the long days, early mornings, hard work, and unwavering dedication that have defined MG Roofing since 1976. Every project completed and every challenge overcome has been made possible by the talented men and women who have worn the MG Roofing name with pride.

To our former employees, retired team members, and current associates—thank you. Your craftsmanship, commitment, and work ethic have helped shape our legacy and laid the foundation for the next generation.

As we count down to our 50th Anniversary Celebration, we'll continue sharing memories from our journey. If you recognize someone in our historic photos or have a favorite MG Roofing memory, we'd love for you to share it in the comments!

Here's to 50 years of Quality, Commitment, and Community—and to the people who made it all possible.

Celebrating 50 Years of MG Roofing 🎉

This August, we're proud to celebrate 50 years of serving our community.

Back in August 1976, our founder, Montey Joe Gaisser, started MG Roofing with a simple promise: deliver quality workmanship, stand behind every job, and treat every customer with honesty and respect.

For five decades, that commitment has been the foundation of everything we do. From our very first roofs to the thousands we've completed since, we're grateful for the trust our customers, employees, and community have placed in us.

This photo of Montey in the early days reminds us where it all began—and the values that continue to guide MG Roofing today.

Thank you for being part of our story. Here's to 50 years of excellence and many more to come!

50 Years of Memories. 50 Years of Gratitude.

As we celebrate 50 years of MG Roofing, we're taking a walk down memory lane.

For five decades, we've had the privilege of serving our communities, building lasting relationships, and protecting what matters most—one roof at a time. Every project, every handshake, and every customer has been part of our story.

Over the coming weeks, we'll be sharing photos, stories, and special memories from throughout the years. From our early days to where we are today, we're proud of the journey and thankful for everyone who has been a part of it.

❤️ We'd love for you to join us!
If you've worked with MG Roofing, been part of our team, or have a favorite memory or photo to share, we'd love to hear from you. Tell us your story in the comments or post your favorite MG Roofing memory and tag us!

Thank you to our customers, employees, suppliers, and community for your trust and support over the past 50 years. Here's to celebrating our past, honoring our present, and building toward the future.
