Happy Thursday! Another busy day for us. From a yard with a rough grade and no grass to fully prepped for sod with a smooth new grade in just a couple of hours! went to work today and made quick work of this transformation. Looking forward to seeing this yard once the sod is down!

Lawns have been spoiled this year with timely rains. The unfortunate part of getting these rains all season means that lawns get used to receiving ample moisture.

Fall is one of the most important times to water if it gets dry. Nutrients will be stored in the roots and without rain or watering, this won't occur like it needs to.

Watering deeply and infrequently a few times a week going into Fall is the name of the game. I am seeing lawns starting to dry out already- I also recommend mowing high for another month until we get some cooler weather.

⛈️Another very wet and messy week is ahead! We still need to get out there and maintain things as best we can. Some muddy areas or light tracks may happen, but with more rain coming, those areas should wash out in the days ahead.

We have to pick our battles—letting areas go too long can leave them overgrown and looking even worse. If you have extremely low-lying areas that are too wet to safely mow or trim, we’ll simply skip those spots this week.
