The Mother of the brideā€™s words ā€œThis is so Alaina!ā€ Weddings can be a bit stressful - Will I please the bride? Will everything hold up to the weather? Will it look best at picture time? But as I come up to the table after dinner, and I see how I got to help make their new beginning a little more beautiful it made it all worth the while. Some days are meant to slow down and just enjoy. The girls and I jumped outside once this week to check on our TWO watermelons that are growing! šŸ˜œ And they decided to cut their own flowers to bring in. It was so fun to see them interact with the flowers and discover the beauty on their own. And today we are getting ready for all the weekend orders!

These dahlias!! šŸ¤© oh and check out this amazing zinnia that looks like it was painted on with pink! šŸ˜ Iā€™m so excited for the 65 dahlias I placed in the ground back at the end of May! August will be SO FUN! (Sad news is Iā€™ve lost three entire high end dahlia plants to an unknown pest šŸ˜«. No Cinder Rose! I am continuing to use soap at the base of Penny Lane weekly as the same signs are showing up on her next! Help!)
