Before and After! The men were hard at work yesterday moving the sod to cover trampoline damage and mulch the rest of the raised bed area! We have 5 beds full! I’m waiting on Lisianthus and Delphinium plugs coming soon. I still have celosia seedlings in trays and dahlias waiting for the warmer weather. It’s coming along! I plan to add a zinnia hedge soon too!

I’m pulling the dahlia tubers out of hibernation and so far I’m seeing great success of tubers survival and eye development! These eyes are the points at which stems grow from a new mother tuber. It’s too cold to put these babes outside yet, but I can wake them up inside and even propagate more from their first growth! If you want to be captivated by dahlias this year, reach out! I may even set up a dahlia class! I will surely have extra tubers to sell or if you’d rather buy them in a bouquet I will be opening a few spots for subscriptions! I plan to also have the cart out weekly! I’m getting excited for what grows this season around us!
