🚨 Update on the punctured A/C unit!

After a drill accidentally punctured the copper lines, things were looking a little rough. Fortunately, Terry was able to repair the damage, stop the freon leak, and weld the line back together.

Now we're putting the finishing touches on the repair with a bubble test to make sure the system is sealed properly and that the leak has been completely fixed. ✅

It's a great reminder that HVAC systems are more delicate than they look. One small accident can lead to lost refrigerant, reduced performance, and costly repairs. When in doubt, call a professional before a DIY project turns into a bigger problem.

❄️ A/C unit not working? PART ONE...

One of the first things we check is whether both parts of the system are communicating properly. Recently, we had a service call where the indoor unit was running, but the outdoor unit wasn't doing anything at all.

When that happens, there are several possible causes—but tracking down the real culprit takes experience and the right diagnostic process.

Fortunately, Joel was on the job and able to pinpoint the issue, get to the root of the problem, and help get the customer's system back on track.

Congratulations to our co-owner, Megan Skodras, on graduating from Leadership Grand Strand! 🎉

On May 1, Megan joined 32 professionals across the Grand Strand as part of the 46th graduating class of this incredible program, run by the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce. Founded back in 1979, LGS is a 10-month journey designed to develop local leaders and connect them deeply to our community, covering everything from regional history and economic development to education, government, and the arts.

Over those 10 months, Megan completed 75 community project hours, including a legacy project supporting the Barnabas Horse Foundation. We couldn't be prouder of the time, heart, and leadership she poured into this. It reflects exactly who she is and what At Your Service stands for: showing up for the community we call home.

A huge congratulations to Megan and every member of the 46th graduating class. The Grand Strand is lucky to have this group of leaders invested in its future! 👏
