We're Hiring: Restoration Technician — Best Option Restoration of Nashville
Location: Nashville Metro Area
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Must be available for 24/7 on-call emergency response (rotating basis)
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Best Option Restoration (BOR) of Nashville is looking for a hands-on, dependable Restoration Technician to join our growing team. As an emergency services company, we help homeowners and businesses recover from water damage, mold contamination, crawlspace issues, biohazard incidents, and demolition needs — often on their worst day. We're looking for someone who takes pride in doing the job right and can stay calm and capable under pressure.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Respond to emergency calls for water mitigation, mold remediation, crawlspace remediation, biohazard cleanup, and demolition jobs
- Extract water, set up drying equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers), and monitor drying progress
- Perform mold remediation including containment setup, removal, and cleaning per industry standards
- Handle biohazard cleanup safely and in compliance with health/safety regulations
- Assist with demolition and removal of damaged materials (drywall, flooring, insulation, etc.)
- Load, unload, and maintain equipment and job site cleanliness
- Communicate professionally and compassionately with customers on-site
- Accurately document job progress with photos and notes for the job file
- Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must-Have:
- Valid driver's license with a clean/acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass a background check
- Physically able to lift 50+ lbs, work in crawlspaces, attics, and other tight or uncomfortable spaces
- Comfortable working in emergency, sometimes unpleasant, conditions (water damage, mold, biohazard sites)
- Reliable, punctual, and able to respond quickly when on-call
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn on the job
- Good communication skills — comfortable interacting with customers
Nice-to-Have:
- Prior experience in restoration, construction, demolition, or a related trade
- IICRC certification (WRT, AMRT, or similar) — or willingness to obtain
- Experience with mitigation equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers, moisture meters)
- OSHA 10/30 certification
SCHEDULE & WORK SETUP
- This is a 24/7 emergency services role — technicians rotate on-call shifts and must be available to respond to emergency calls, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Field-based role — most work is on-site at customer homes and businesses across the Nashville metro area
- Company vehicle and equipment provided for jobs
