TDK Companies and Waldron Enterprises Break Ground on Vintage Harbor Brook
Mixed-use development to feature luxury residences, private office suites, and resort-style amenities
SMYRNA, TN – TDK Companies and Waldron Enterprises have officially broken ground on Vintage Harbor Brook, an upscale mixed-use community that will bring 341 luxury apartment residences and six private office suites, along with a full suite of modern amenities to one of Rutherford County’s fastest-growing corridors.
Located on Old Nashville Highway, just off Sam Ridley Parkway, the pedestrian-friendly development will offer convenient access to nearby restaurants, shopping, and entertainment, said John Keach, Co-CEO and Principal of TDK Companies.
“With its prime location near I-24, Vintage Harbor Brook will provide residents with easy access to downtown Nashville while offering the comfort and convenience of a thoughtfully designed community,” Keach said. “Adjacent to our highly successful Vintage Stonetrace property, this development responds to strong demand from both millennials and baby boomers seeking a modern lifestyle close to work, recreation, and entertainment. Vintage Harbor Brook is more than housing, it’s a lifestyle.”
Greg Waldron, Managing Partner of Waldron Enterprises, emphasized the project’s role in elevating Smyrna’s live-work-play landscape.
“The Nashville and Middle Tennessee region remains one of the most sought-after markets in the country,” Waldron said. “Vintage Harbor Brook, along with Vintage Stonetrace, will introduce a new level of design and walkability to a community already rich with opportunity. In addition, we have donated approximately 19 acres adjacent to these developments for the creation of a new public park featuring walking trails and a dog park for the Town of Smyrna.”
Strategically located at 5000 Needham Drive, Vintage Harbor Brook will be minutes from major employers, premier retail and dining destinations, and a wide array of recreational options.
Financing and Project Timeline
TDK Companies secured the construction loan through First Bank. Pre-leasing is expected to begin in late 2026, with the community anticipated to reach completion by summer 2027.
Keach Investments, an investment arm of TDK Companies, is serving as an equity partner in the development.
