Richard's Kitchens & Baths

Butler's pantries have been more and more popular in remodels these past few years. We are still in love with this one we did for Bob and Ashley Runkle as part of their major kitchen remodel. Ashley's artistic taste and vision for the remodel made this one extra special to be a part of. What's your favorite feature in this one?

The clients: Staci and Steve Slavin. She owns Slavin Design House and holds a real estate license. He's a local real estate agent with a serious cooking-gadget collection.

The brief: a kitchen with a ceiling under eight feet, a roofline sloping at 45 degrees and some serious functional improvements.

Here's how it came together.

Greg Rawson took the cabinets all the way to the ceiling, fitted the trim to follow the angle, and turned an entire wall behind the island into storage. Staci brought the color, texture and wallpaper. The result is warm Light Mocha cabinetry, contrasting wood grain, a vintage-style range and a custom slatted hood.

Two pros, two lanes, one kitchen that works as well as it looks.

Thinking about your own kitchen? Message us. Greg would be glad to talk it through.

Because there really is a difference.

We are so excited for Slavin Design House to be our neighbor right next door to our studio. We have worked with Staci for years on numerous projects and we can tell you first hand that she is incredibly talented and a delight to work with. Make sure you give her new page a follow.

Welcome to Slavin Design House.

Introducing Muncie, Indiana's newest interior design studio, built to serve you. Slavin Design House was created out of a dream from owner Staci Slavin.

With years of experience in interior design, real estate, and retail, Staci has created a new studio space specifically designed for intentional, collective, and thoughtful modern living.

Our design style is best described as transitional and eclectic, blending modern and traditional elements to create spaces that feel timeless. What inspires her the most is the clients and the stories behind their homes.

Our goal for every project is to truly listen, guide clients through the process, and create spaces they love and feel proud of for years to come. Most importantly, we want to help you spend your budget in the smartest way to create a design that brings your space to life.

Slavin Design House is just beginning, and we can't wait to share what is to come in the coming weeks. This journey could not have been made possible without our family, friends, and everyone who has believed in me.

So, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you, and welcome to Slavin Design House.

Featured on the bathtub surround, walls, and shelving, Cambria's Colton quartz design takes this bathroom to the next level. A few favorite details:
1. The warm brownish-gray veining on this quartz design brings a beautiful, cohesive look from the floor to the ceiling.
2. The quartz surface minimizes grout lines, drawing focus to the design’s neutral elegance and making it easy to maintain.
3. Cambria quartz surfaces are naturally nonabsorbent, meaning you’ll never have to worry about mold, mildew, or having to seal them.
