✔️ Sharpen or replace mower blades
✔️ Change the oil and check the air filter
✔️ Clean grass clippings and debris from underneath the deck
✔️ Add fuel stabilizer if recommended to your equipment

Taking care of these simple tasks now can help extend the life of your equipment and make your first mow next spring a whole lot easier!

Just because temperatures are cooling down doesn't mean your lawn is done growing!

Indiana's cool-season grasses continue growing throughout fall until temperatures drop enough to slow or stop growth.

✂️ Keep mowing as needed, aiming for a grass height of around 2.5–3 inches as the season winds down.

One important reminder: Never scalp your lawn! Cutting too short can stress your grass and leave it more vulnerable to weeds, disease, and winter damage.
