Thalia is the Muse of Comedy. Her name also means “flourishing”. She is a symbol of idealism and happiness.

Thalia is our muse for the Muncie Arts Church. Our responsibility was to reactivate the beauty of these amazing stained glass windows in new and inventive way. Rather than boarding up the stained glass as they were all around the building, we brought back the life and light and retained security of this oldest existing church in Muncie. We must find a way to make this architectural gem flourish. We adorned it with the muses!

Terpsichore is the muse of dancing. She inspires movement with her music. It is said that she is also the mother of the Sirens.

The Carnegie Lights project takes direct inspiration from dance. The integration of animations is a dance of its own coordinated with the dancers from the Harmony Movement Studio. The life from the movement celebrates and projects the significance of our treasured Carnegie Library.

Euterpe is the Muse of Music. She is also known for being a source of joy and delight. Often in images, she is paired with a flute. It is believed that she invented the flute as well as many other wind instruments.

Euterpe is the muse of our involvement in events in downtown Muncie. Music, movement, and excitement fill downtown every first Thursday of the month. These events give our studio an opportunity to immerse ourselves in the culture and joy of the downtown area.

Erato is the muse that inspires feelings and adoration. Her name translates to “desired.” Often, she is pictured with Eros, the Greek God of love.

The project paired with Erato is Zero-Zero. With this project, our team works to inspire a love for the city of Muncie. An adoration and awareness of the center of downtown often sparks a love for the city as a whole. These designs reflect the history of downtown, its innovative spirit, and celebrates the origin of the cartesian grid numbering system with a pavement painted 0 at Main and Walnut Streets (zero, zero) or as in Rome, at the intersection of the Cardo, and Decanumus that organized each city. The site is adorned with interactive spaces in an attempt to unify four disparate design languages and components on each corner.
