FYI - thank you for keeping us informed! Check on your neighbors!

The Delaware County Sheriff’s Office would like to sincerely thank our community for the incredible help, support, and patience shown throughout this week’s flooding.

We have seen neighbors helping neighbors, businesses stepping up, and community members coming together during a difficult situation. Your kindness and willingness to help have not gone unnoticed, and we are incredibly grateful for the support you have shown to one another and to our first responders.

Efforts to locate Matthew Morey will continue tomorrow. However, we are limiting the search to first responders only. It is simply too dangerous to continue to allow our citizens on the water at this time. If you are compelled to help please reach out to the Salvation Army, Red Cross or any other disaster relief non profit of your choice. Please do not respond to Gregory Road during the search effort.

Thank you Delaware County for continuing to look out for one another. We are proud to serve this community. 🇺🇸
