One of the most common things we hear from homeowners is:
“Yeah, that drain’s been slow for a while.”
The problem is slow drains rarely fix themselves. Most of the time, they slowly build into bigger issues until somebody’s standing in ankle-deep water or dealing with a backup they didn’t see coming.
Kitchen lines, shower drains, main sewer lines — usually there were warning signs long before the emergency happened.
A drain moving slower than normal is your plumbing system telling you something’s starting to build up or fail somewhere down the line.
And honestly, catching it early is almost always cheaper and less stressful than waiting until it completely stops working.
