This home in Portland, OR had one of the steepest roofs we’ve worked on. Under the old shingles was a layer of wood shake, and beneath that—no plywood at all. So before we could even install a new roof, we had to build the right foundation first.

Out in Springfield, OR, we replaced an old deck-mount skylight with a new curb-mount upgrade. First, we built a proper curb with 2x4s, then sealed everything tight with ice & water membrane to prevent leaks at the seams. Final step: new skylight, new shingles, and peace of mind for the homeowner.

Most roofers can make the open field look pretty—but leaks don’t usually happen there. They happen at penetrations: chimneys, vents, pipes.
